Abstract : The design of manipulators and their control is considered. Point-to-point control using the simplest controllers is described. Parameter selection to improve the dynamic properties of manipulators is considered. The computed torque approach, which is prevalent in the literature, is summarized. The dynamics of a rigid robot manipulator are described by vector differential equation.
